1. How much do you charge.

Adfuel charges 33% of the gross sales. (BTW most other text link brokers charge 50% or more). There will be some other expenses too like paypal and auction fees. Typically you will get 60% of the first cycle* and 60% to %65 of the renewals.

*A cycle can be 1 month, 3 months, 6 months or even 1 year depending on the deal.

2. Will my PageRank drop if I put text ads on my site?

Google PageRank is determed by the incoming links to your site and is determed page by page. PageRank is also passed internally within your web site. The more links you put on a web page the more the pagerank is deluded for each link on that webpage. If that web page has links that point to other web pages in your site those links will pass less PageRank. This may cause your inside pages to drop in PageRank.

Our experience has been that 5 to 10 ad links is never a problem. At about 15 to 20 ad links you may have a problem if you do not not take steps to increase your incoming links. Over 20 ad links and you stand a very good chance of having your PR drop.

You should always be working to get more incoming links. This can be done in the following ways.

Offer fresh content for other webmasters to link to. This is the secret to a successful web site. All of our top performers have great sites with interesting ontent that webmasters naturally want to link to. There is no short cut for this (although you can pay people to write content for you real cheap.)
Write articles for other web sites and have them link back to you as a courtesy
Exchange links with similar sites. The best way to do this manually. Avoid link exchange clubs/web sites. You can pay people to do this for you too.
